At the end of June we are planning to take our Syrian, Iraqi and Sudanese families to the Jonas Centre in Wensleydale for a weekend respite break.

The Jonas Centre (www.jonascentre.org) is situated in the heart of Wensleydale, with 12 log cabins and a large communal barn. It is ideal for a ‘getaway’ and we hope to have great fun with indoor and outdoor games, barbecue, bonfire, maybe music and dancing in the hall etc.  There are also quiet rooms for those wanting to rest, and gentle walks in the countryside. We are being supported in this venture by the Wharfedale Foundation, and also the Knaresborough and Wensleydale Rotary Clubs. We hope to meet up with the latter during the weekend.
