On Wednesday 7th December Cllr Jenny Travena submitted a Notice of Motion asking Harrogate Borough Council to agree to join the City of Sanctuary network.

There was a brief discussion then the vote which was unanimously in favour of the Motion.

Cllr Travena, who chairs the Harrogate Group was absolutely delighted with the unanimous vote and hopes that this will spur the community forward in the new venture for the District nom-notes
